Fireflies

I really love this time of year, because through June and July, fireflies start appearing! It starts with just a few, then quickly builds to a hundred, then ten hundred! This last week I have seen so many fireflies, that it seems the world is filled with them. You are surrounded with a tiny galaxy, the fireflies all around you, and the heavens above. So, like with any other beautiful thing that catches my eye, I decided to capture it in the way of pictures, many pictures. This is one of three that I will post here. The settings I used were Manual focus, (on the stars) Iso-3200, f-stop 3.5, with an 18-135 canon 80d for 8 second long exposures. I have created two timelapses, one showing the original pictures in succession, the other showing the images run through StarStax.
